The Hellenic Air Force (or Greek Air Force) has ordered a total of 180 F-16 aircraft, including F16C/D block 30, 50, and 52 aircraft. These aircraft are equiped with state-of-the-art weapon systems: JDAM, JSOM, and WCMD ground attack munitions; IRIS-T and AIM-120C AMRAAM air-to-air missiles; JHMCS and NVG for the pilots; LANTIRN navigation and targeting system; and ASPIS electronic warfare suite. Upgraded for FSX. Go to the Space ! This aircraft was shaped to fly at MACH 3 remaining within its Mach cone throughout the flight regime, using the shock waves beneath the wing to generate compression lift. The wing tips could be folded down 65° to increase this compression lift and also to provide greater directional stability. Unfortunately only two prototypes were built, and despite their exceptional performance, the XB-70 program had been cancelled after 130 missions, when an F-104 collided and destroyed the second prototype during a photo shoot. Even so, the B-70 provided invaluable high-speed flight test data. This model includes a detailed virtual cockpit. Gauges and sounds are included in package. Author : Massimo Altieri

On April 26, 1936, the world was informed that a specialy modified version of the Luftwaffe's single-seat fighter had raised the world air speed record to 755,11 km/h, 469,22 mph. Later, Messerschmitt tried to make a fighter out of the Me-209. One experimental plane was built, the Me-209 V4. The flight tests showed that this plane was too difficult to fly for an average-trained pilot.

At 4:30 A.M. on May 10, 1940, three Junkers Ju 52's took off from the Cologne airfields of Ostheim and Butzweilerhof, towing behind them three other aircraft that lacked motors. The first front service of a new weapon, the freight glider, developed by the DFS, Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug / German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight, had begun. A total of 41 DFS-230 freight gliders with 400 paratroopers were launched for this mission. It was their task to take the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich. With this successful operation the crossing of the Albert Canal was secured and the cornerstone of Belgian defense felt in German hands. These assault gliders were also used during Krete invasion, 1941. The DFS 230's last significant use was during the 'Eichen' operation: 10 assault gliders were used to deliver the group of hand picked commandos led by Otto Skorzeny against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel that was used to hold Mussolini. The Royal Italian Air Force, Regia Aeronautica, received from Luftwaffe,during 1941,almost 20 DFS-230 and 4 Gotha Go-242 assault gliders. These aircrafts were used only for pilots training until 09/1943. Complete aircraft.
