The BD-5J was a difficult little aircraft to fly due to its sensitive controls, high landing speed and homebuilt experimental nature. This resulted in frequent crashes at the controls of even experienced pilots. This version unlike the real thing comes with rudimentary night lighting and navigation equipment to extend its usage in FSX. By Jez G.
I found this little jet to be VERY hard to fly. It's a tough jet as far has handling qualities are concerned. I can see why alot of experienced pilots had trouble with this bird.

I WAS GOING TO BUY ONE OF THESE IN 1975 WHEN THEY WERE GOING TO BE MASS PRODUCED IN CLEVELAND OHIO, WHEN I WAS IN THE AIRFORCE. THE PROP VERSION WAS GOING TO COST $5000 AND BEDE WAS GOING TO MAKE A 1000 OF THEM AT FIRST. I REALLY LIKE FLYING THIS JET VERSION AND CANNOT FIND ANYTHING BAD ABOUT IT. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST FILES TO DOWNLOAD AND I WOULD PAY $15 FOR IT.

Used this for ages, great fun, good thing to practise stright landings in etc as you won't have to worrie about speed etc.

this is one of my favorit aircraft, its fast and it like a jet powered stunt plane.

This aircraft is fantastic, super fast, and a dream to fly. Great job with all the instrumentation and the menu being right on the console. Highly recommended!
