Changes included in the FDE upgrade:
- Revised aerodynamic and engine model for more realistic performance.
- New manifold pressure model:
- Ram air effect.
- Air intake heat and alternate intake air.
- New supercharger effect.
- Revised supercharger lever settings.
- New anti-ice fluid level gauge and system.
- New hydraulic system:
- 2 separate hydraulic circuits.
- Hydraulic pump pressure warning lights.
- Emergency brake system.
- New electric system:
- Modified AC and DC voltmeter, new DC voltmeter selector switch.
- Modified panel instruments.
- Modified radio stack with second ADF receiver.
- Modified RMI with second ADF needle.
- Modified CHT system and gauge.
- Flight director system.
- New FE manifold pressure gauge faces showing 10/15% lean mixture limits.
- New icons for 10/15% lean mixture=
Optional for FS9:
- New fuel dump system with more realistic fuel dump.
- Orientation of emergency shutoff levers corrected.
- Revised automatic engine start for more realistic start sequence.
