FSX Northrop YB-49 Flying Wing. The YB49 was an XB-35 prototype that had the original powerplant of four piston engines replaced by eight turbojets. They also were modified with the addition of four fins and "air dams" or fences along the swept wings. By J. Higgs.

phantomfire1Wed, 29 Dec 2010 17:22:05 GMT: I had no trouble flying it, and no trouble loading it. Fly's very well, and is true to its 1951 origin. I would love to see more updates and details to come. She is a keeper. If you can find the old movie, War of the Worlds, 1953, you can see it actually take-off and fly against the martians. The real stock footage is a treat, and you can witness the very small flying inputs being made. It was a beast at that time with the weight and underpowered engines. Real historic value to the B-2.

TimmileySun, 03 Aug 2008 19:04:28 GMT: A WORTHY EFFORT BUT NEEDS MORE DETAIL TO BE REALLY FUN TO FLY. PANEL SHOULD NOT BE DONE IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO IT RIGHT. IT SEEMS TO LACK THE RIGHT FEEL OF FLIGHT AND RESPONDS WRONG TAKING OFF. I ENJOYED FLYING IT AROUND AND WANTED MORE DETAIL TO IT. I WOULD PAY ABOUT $4 FOR THIS ONE.
