This add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X bring the legendary Concorde to your desktop. This is a fully featured Concorde add-on for FSX that includes many advanced textures and features such as a full Virtual Cockpit, 3D animations on exterior model, effects including smoke and afterburner and much more. The model is based on the FS France Concorde model that was popular in FS2004, but has now been modified and upgraded to be fully functional in FSX too.
FSX Concorde package with five paint jobs included. Includes fully animated nose visor, gear, afterburner and smoke effects, VC (virtual cockpit) and much more. Model by the team at FSF rance. Modified for FSX by Eric Buchmann. Comes with American Airlines, British Airways, Air France, United and the classic Concorde Pepsi repaint. Concorde was one of the most legendary aircraft on the planet until its demise after many technical faults. You can still fly Concorde on FSX with this add-on.
The Concorde first took to the skies in the 60s and became an iconic airliner for the rich and the famous. It was was ahead of its time; flying at supersonic speeds, this was the first passenger aircraft of its kind. The first passenger flights began in 1976 and completed 27 year of service until it was taken out of the skies and retired in 2003 after a serious of incidents and crashes that caused concern. It was too expensive to keep such old technology in the skies, and while it was advanced at the time of manufacture, everything was still mechanical and not computerized and upgrading the whole aircraft fleet would have been to expensive for the operators.

Just Put in your C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes folder, then copy the contents of the effects folder into the main FSX effects folder and the plane should work!

Those of you complaining about the autopilot not holding altitude, you might want to do some research before moaning about it! The concord was designed to accept a VARIABLE altitude into the auto pilot. Concord flew on its own track accross the Atlantic (because it could not be sequenced with slower traffic) and also at least 10 000 feet higher than other commercial traffic - ie about 50 000 feet. Because of this, the autopilot was programmed to allow the aircraft to "hunt" for the best Flight Level according to fuel consumption affecting trim, headwinds etc. Concord was not an ordinary aircraft, and did not operate like ordinary aircraft!
You Should Make a Concorde in the new United Airlines Livery. But either way a very good aircraft
