Installation:

  • Unzip and copy the folder BulldogMk1 into your ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes folder.
  • Copy all the gauge files from the BulldogMK1\Gauges folder to ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Gauges.
  • Copy GaugeSound.dll into ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\
  • Copy fx_vclight_yellow into ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects\
  • From ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Extra300\Panel\ COPY (not Move!) the file Extra_XML.cab to ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Gauges.

Original model, textures (Texture,bdog_MAS,bdogSAF), bespoke gauges, effects and air file by Tim Conrad, used with kind permission. Please see original readme for details. Textures BHZR, DOGE & emuas by Ben Hartmann of UKMIL repaints,included with kind permission. He has many others for this aircraft.

I have also made the following changes:

  • Rebuilt VC & 2d panels with standard fsx guages in 2 layouts, GPS or ADF.
  • Repainted VC & 2d panels with darker textures to closer match actual aircraft flown in.
  • Modified all main exterior textures to show new panel layout.
  • Modified aircraft.cfg to:
  • Add 2 panel variants for each texture.
  • Add external and co pilot camera views.
  • Add aircraft textures.
  • Remove constant power from electricals to allow alt/bat switch to function.
  • Reworded aircraft manufacturer, type and description so fsx can display it better in menus.
  • Added smoke.
  • Added texture thumbnails.
  • Added Kneeboard check list and reference data.
