This is the full package (aircraft panel and sound) and is only for FSX. To make this version of the plane I started changing my MB 339PAN model designed with FSDS v2.24, which I made in collaboration with Paolo Zamparo few years ago. The original panel has been partially modified to remove only the part regarding the smoke colored for the PAN model and the old gauges not more compatible with the FSX simulator. The model has been completely revised and, in particular in the virtual cabin and in the Flight Dynamics files.
This model has reflective surfaces and complete animations.
A set of six different textures are present in the package , five of them to produce the various colors that was painted this model during the operational use with the Italian Air Force and the sixth is a specimen for the aircraft used by the Argentina navy during the Falklands War.
A brief history The Aermacchi MB339 was designed by engineer Ermanno Bazzocchi as an advanced military trainer. For this purpose, the Mb339 entered service in August 1979 at the I.A.F. Scuola Volo Basico Iniziale Avanzato (SVBIA) of Lecce. Were so many its capabilities that foreign operators began using it also to attack tasks. The best-known example in this regard was offered by the Argentine Navy, whose MB 339AA armed with six guns in pod subalari were used to operating in 1982 against British forces in the Falklands War. Only one airplane of this type survived the conflict and returned to Argentina.
Below are listed the other operators who have used or still use this aircraft operationally:
* Argentina Navy, with 10 MB-339AA, no longer operational. * Dubai Air Wing, with 7 MB-339A. * Ghana Air Force, with 4 MB-339A. * Royal Malaysian Air Force, with 13 MB-339AM, 8 of which survived. * Nigerian Air Force operates with 12 MB-339AN. * Peruvian aviation, with 10 MB-339AP.
The Italian Air Force received 107 MB-339A, of which 19 were adapted for the variant for the I.A.F. Aerobatic team "Frecce Tricolori".
