FSX Dino Cattaneo F14D Alternative Burners

FSX Dino Cattaneo F14D Alternative Burners. For a different set of Burners for Dino Cattaneo's Grumman F-14D Tomcat. Also a replacement texture set for black F-14 throttles instead of white ones. By Jason Morgan.

A Revised set of burners for Dino cattaneo's F14D. These burners will utilize the smokesystem within FSX,but is automated, no need to press the I key. Black throttle controls also provided.

1. First, Install the (whole yellow folder) Smoke_Control,into the main fsx Gauges folder.

2. Install the effect file into the main fsx Effects folder.

3. Backup the Panel folder in the F14D aircraft folder and put the one provided in to replace.

4. Backup the aircraft.cfg.

5. Open the f14d aircraft.cfg with notepad, and copy the next segment into the aircraft.cfg :-

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0 =-52, 4.7, -0.3, fx_hotburner.fx
smoke.1 =-52, -4.7, -0.3, fx_hotburner.fx

6. Save the aircraft.cfg.

REPLACEMENT THROTTLE TEXTURE

1. Make a backup of the " VC_Misc_2 " found in the aircrafts main texture folder and replace with the one provided.(If Wanted) This will replace the white throttle controls with one which is black. The replacement texture can be found in the Throttle texture folder.
