Airports Of Fresno Scenery.
This is a revision of my earlier scenery for Fresno/Yosemite Airport and also adds scenery to Chandler airport & Sierra Sky Park. I also added the dam and marina on lake Millerton (Friant CA.). Millerton Lake is upstream of the San Joaquin River. The river is the North Boundary of Fresno County. The dam is a prominent landmark and is ten miles North of KFAT. Fly out to the lake and check it out (sorry no sunbathers).
Sierra Sky Park was created in 1946, and is the first residential aviation community in the world. Both FSX and FS9 have very little scenery at Sierra sky park. It is so sparse that it is difficult to find from the air. I have added some hangers along the taxiways to replicate a crude hangar/home community. My talents are limited to using the default textures supplied in FSX. You can now at least locate the airport from a distance.
Important: For those who have installed my earlier scenery for KFAT “kfats.zip”. You must un-install this earlier version before installing this newer scenery. This new scenery has considerably more objects than the original.
Installation: Just copy the folder “Fresno” into your FSX /Addon scenery folder and activate in the FSX Scenery library. I hope you find this to be an improvement over the default scenery. I find it much more interesting on approach and while taxiing than before.
