CFS3 BF 110 G-2/U7

High Altitude Interceptor The U7 was developed as per a requirement of the RLM ("Reichsluftfahrtministerium" = air defense ministry). The Luftwaffe feared the appearance of high altitude bombers (B-29, B-17 flying at high altitude, reconnaissance Mosquito's) and asked for an aircraft capable of attacking above 8000 meters.
