Help With Repaint!!!!

Hello Everyone,
I just finished a repaint yesterday but couldn't put letters on it because it was an FS2004 default aircraft. (Boeing 747-400) I have seen how to fix this problem in other forums, but I can't find where it is. If anyone can help, it would be great. Thanks.
