It dawned on me I have no idea where most of us live.. I saw this used by another group I am a member of and thought it would be an idea to create one for the Fly Away forums...

So, head over to this link

http://www.frappr.com/flyawayforums

and add your locations (There seems to be an add yourself button in the blue bar along the top)

Very Happy

Feel free not to obviously but I think it would be nice to know where each of us hails from, it doesn't get exact address details anyway and the pointer is only as accurate as you make it.

I haven't fully explored the features that surround the page as yet, there seem to be quite a few - if anyone notices anything cool or useful do point it out! Smile

how about some beautiful screenshot of a plane that already exists or has great graphics with an exellent graphics card so that it looks real and then that ''Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004-A century of flight'' in a corner.Or else you can use a screenshot from msfs X that'll come out in a while cause they all look great.Good idea to have something to represent us Idea

As soon as a few find that the e-mail address doesn't "bounce" they sell it over and over until you get literally 100 a day.
I have to empty some a few times a week.
Someone (joke mail site?) sold my primary a few years ago and I get about 80 spams a day.

Glad you joined us Radarman! Smile

These guys seem to be associated with Google in some way, I still haven't received any spam from them and the page is a few days old now.

They aren't allowed to sell on your email address unless you say they can, if they do you can take them to court I think.

wow thnx Radarman!

Much appreciated!

I think over time as new members join it would be cool for them to see the sticky and add themselves to the map!

Out of interest, how accurate have you guys made the pointers to where you live?

Mine is pretty much spot on!

This spot has nailed in the middle of my living room... Laughing Laughing Laughing Wink

Im leaving about 25km(about 15miles)north from the center of Athens in the foot of the mountain Parnitha and 2km(1.2miles) south from LGTT(Dekelia-It is between me and the mountain)
I can hear and see the training Cessnas and Pipers of the Local aero-club.
I wish one day earn the time(and the money)to be a trainer too...
