About Virtual Piedmont Airlines:
We are a simulated virtual airline based out of Charlotte, NC. Our
main Corporate office is located in Hampton Roads, VA.
Piedmont Aircraft:
VPI operates a wide variety of aircraft from the Beech 1900D to the
Boeing 777-200. Each aircraft in our fleet has been designed by the
leading aircraft designers in the flight sim community today. Each
aircraft is tailored to meet the experience levels of all pilots
from the new pilot to the experienced ATP virtual pilot.
In the last two weeks VPI has taken delivery of the ERJ-145, SA-200
Lancer, 712, 733, 735, 738, and the A320.. The A300, A319, A321,
A330 will be entering the paint shop and delivered to VPI real soon.
Hub Operations, Destinations:
VPI hub operations are out of CLT, DAY, ELP, SYR, and MIA. Future
hub operations are scheduled for launch on August 14, 2003 from MKE,
COS, SMF, and HNL. VPI operates within the USA, Canada, Mexico,
Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Europe. VPI is
considering launching hubs in Europe and Asia, however, no decisions
have been made on the cities for the hubs, and destinations these
hubs will serve.
VPI is recruiting pilots, hub managers, aircraft maintenance
(painters), scenery designers, and trainers.
