Following on from a discussion in another thread I have knocked together a PHP script that will tell you the weather from over 3000 airports.
Each airport updates the weather by the looks of things at least every hour making it very accurate. I reports winds clouds and loads loads more. It also tells you what you current barometer settings should be.
It currently does not look pretty but it does the job. I just knocked it together quickly.
Any problems or ideas, please let me know. |

That is great Doyley. We can compare it with Jeppesen to see the results,i think it ll be interesting.

Thanks for the kind words all.
If you look up the weather of a particular airport often then you can use it using a GET request.
In other words, I use EGGP all of the time so you can just paste the URL
Into your browser. You would change EGGP to the ICAO of your airport. You can then add it to your favourites. |
