Forest Replacement Textures

File Description:
A complete new replacement textures for FSX This textures set should give you a different forestration with in FSX and hopefully a little better frame rate. Texture size are about the same as FSX default but the design of the textures are slightly different and should give you an edge in the battle of FPS.. The textures are not resized so the quality should not be all that different.. Try it and make up your own mind....
******************************
I have not tried them yet.

Back up your original texture folder!

I just got the FSX and I don't want to screw anything up. How do I safely download the add-on ZIP files from my desktop to the FSX program? What folders do I use? Do I make folders? What do I need to stay away from? Pitfalls? Thanks

The proccess is almost the same as here Arrow

http://flyawaysimulation.com/postt1800.html

Keep on mind that instead of Aircraft Folder you had in FS9 now your crafts are located under the SimObjects/Airplanes.

General suggestion is to always beck your original files in case you have to replace something and also to read the Special Instructions(Read.me)contained to each add-on you download.

Of course if you have big problems you can specify them here and we will try to help Wink
