I recently purchased some aircraft, panel, scenery, and painting software..

Learning how to make aircraft first, then panels. I intend to go after the older planes, as in WWII era. I have seen so many repaints of flying tubes (Modern passenger jets) It's a rare treat to find an older era plane, both military and civilian. So I decided since I'm always on the PC, and I love aircraft, plus I have a bit of artist in my blood, I'll make my own, and when they get good enough. I'll share.

My current and first project is a B17F. Why start out small and simple? LOL

It'll probably be a couple months, but I hope to have a nice plane or two out before Christmas to share with the FS world. (FS 2002 to be precise.)

A B17 sounds fantastic, I hope you are using GMAX so we can use it in fs9.
Good luck, is there a p-38 or a Beech 35 "v-tail" in the future?

I'm using FSDS 2.24, plus all the other software is Abacus. A P-38 is most certainly in the future. I've always liked that plane.

The V-tail Bonanza....hmmmmm. I'll take that one under consideration after I get some time in on learning this designing. I do have newbie on my forhead here, but animating those V tail controls, I'll have to study up.

Cool Aloha Mem,
FSDS v2.24 is tops with me and I design planes all the time, and yes
they work in 2004 fine, and if you would like some inspiration, just go on over to MoTIS VJD,I think theres a link on the main page.Oh yes! To ALL
the simmers out there,The planes made with FSDS are compatible with FS2004,sometimes the designer screws up,that is not the fault of the program. So if you are having problems with files not made with GMAX
then you should look a little deeper into the problem. Ric

Hi! Anybody knows if aircraft and scenery made on FSDS v1.6 can run in MSFS 2004?
There is a link that I can download the trial FSDS v2.0?

Aloha All, If you would like I am starting a tutorial on designing a plane in FSDS 2.24 on Saturday on my site, the first will deal with making a Body and then run the whole thing till we are done with the Plane, including reflective paint.
