When they say "open it in your notepad" you right click on the cfg.
Then chose "open" it'll ask you how, you choose program (bottom one) and then choose notepad from the list in the window that was just opened.
Then you can follow the directions in the read-me.
Wow, I hope you understand that.

Your my eyes, I can't see what you downloaded. You may have the wrong wing views for that particular aircraft, they may be using a generic panel.
******************
This is in the Ultimate Wingviews" download, I just did it.
* NOTE - Wingviews provided ONLY work correctly when used with the Kittyhawk Boeing 737-700, 737-800 Series Aircraft.
***************
This is zip wingviews 737-700-800

Did it tell you in the read-me in the aircraft what wingview to use.
I'm not a jet fan I fly tail-draggers.
It's difficult to help unless we know exactly what you downloaded, a link to them perhaps.
A member who fly's jets may be along to help.

Thank you for replying,
I installed the Kittyhawk Continental 737-700-800 with or without winglets
I got it from avsim.com
When it says to open the 'panel' cfg all it says is 'b737-400 panel' So iI clicked on the aircraft .cfg
In it it I scrolled down to 'views' and it says 'eye view' and some number.
So it copied and pasted all the words like 'left view window zoom 1.00' (someting like that).
I saved it and tryed the game again, used the 737-800 and then i used the key pad and looked left and right but there is no wings! I don't know what to do.
I hoped i kind of put you in my perspective.
Thank you for helping RadarMan.

The other moderator TTT uses wing views, he's Sleep right now but should be here in a few hours, he's in Wales.
He'll be able to help you because I've never done it, as I said I'm a tail-dragger.

Yawn Im here
The easy way is to go to your fs9 aircraft file and open the std fs 737 and copy the panel folder over to the Kittyhawk aircraft folder(overwrite the old panel folder)
Now you should have all the bits you need to edit the panel config

Have a go at that, then come back to us and we will rid you of that std panel and upgrade you to better one

Very Happy I have just d/loaded the wing view file and it works Very Happy
Just follow the instuctions in the read me file

Doh! I no longer have the default 737 panel (that went a lonng time ago)
If you copy and paste the default config file here I will alter it for you so that you can then copy and paste the updated file to your 737

Shocked When you open the panel folder, there will be a note pad file called panel.Open that and then click edit/select all, click edit again and select copy. Now go to the forum click post reply and right click your mouse in the space where you type your message, now select paste and you should have the contents of your panel config on display

Post it and we will sort it out Rolling Eyes

It says under the insterment panel 'views' and it is checked
It also has a small black box on the panel.
Is there anything else i can do?

Shocked Works ok for me
The little black box? Try clicking it and see if you can close it

You must use the number-pad to access the views

Its the Continental one that lets you pick if you want the winglets or not.
I closed it, doesnt do anything

If I got another kittyhawk 737-800 do you think it would work?

It may be the fact that you can opt for winglets or not.I have kittyhawk planes with and without and the veiws are ok
If you have another model try it with the same panel

Try d/loading this panel tungv1 from www.avsim.com
It comes with all you need in gauges and sound files and includes a full 180 veiw of the cockpit,2 window views of the wings and a view of the passenger cabin
Also has altitude callouts

Kittyhawk planes that I have

VirginBlue 737-700 (winglets)
KLM 737-800
Easyjet 737-700
Ryanair-old 737-800
737-800 Europa,American Airlines,Britannia,Futura,Helios

I have the above panel working with the Easyjet 737-800
The views work slightly differently with this panel

7 front left 8 ahead 9 front right
4 left 5 passenger cabin 6 right
1 rear left cockpit 2 cockpit door 3 rear right cockpit

5 + 1 together left window wing view
5 + 3 together right winow wing view

I quite like this panel but I normally use a different one and when I find a site with it I will post

Im not going to bed unitill you see a wing Wacko

Found it at avsim called greg737.zip I like this panel as you can resize it for a better view

Very Happy tungv1.zip is the file name on Flightsim.com - its for the recommended panel to use with Kittyhawks 737Ng wingviews, theres also an update called tungv1a.zip.
Good luck - and read the READ ME files carefully Very Happy
Also if you want a proper sound for your 737,then search for the file called 737sndpk.zip Very Happy

Thereīs an even better pckage available, where you can get this view, and wing views at the same time,by using your hat switch,itīs called :
wingcab.zip

Have a safe flight, and enjoy Very Happy

Those shots especially inside the cabin are most impressive.
Did you use Active Camera.
