When Landing the B737 the approach goes all right until I get on short final with the gear down. As I approach the threshold I totally loose all lateral control of the aircraft and almost always miss the runway. Am using Elite Pro Panel SE for yoke, Computer 2.5Ghz processor, 1.5G Ram, 60G Hard Drive. video card with 128 Mb.

I try not to let my speed get below 160K. Is that fast enough?

Yeah, for a 737 in landing config, with full fuel, you will want 180 Wink
