Newb to soldering

hi i have recently got into the world of circuitry and soldering. i want to make it into a sort of hobby and a beneficial skill to have.

i had bought a weller 75w soldering gun and am anxious to begin soldering.

however i have no idea on how to. all i know is that you have the tip heat apply the tip to the wire to be soldered and put the solder onto the heated wire. i also tried a half assed attempt at tinning... it didnt go so well it turned into a giant blob and just was bad.

and now that i have resorted to flyaway as a place to get started with many things like my computer (which im currently on right now Smile

) itd be nice if i could get a crash course from some one that knows how to solder. thank you
