multiplayer help

hello all, i have a bit of a problem. i can not connect with FS9 to any multi player game. i think i know what is stoping the connection. i downloaded a program that looks at my ports to see what ones are in use, where they are going and where they are coming from. when FS9 tries to connect, it comes from my LAN IP so other computers/servers cant connect to me. i talked to a buddy to try to solve this and he said it might be because my ISP does not give me a DNS server. anyone know if there is anything i can do to solve this problem?

Call your ISP and see what they can do for you.
If you have a router or a firewall installed that could do it also.
