| Description | Jodel_D140C
Leaving de Gaulle Airport-Paris.
This airplane has good flight caracteristics, a little more "heavy" in commands than her sisters two-seats D112.
295 models of D140 "Mousquetaire" was build (all variants : 140 A, B, C, E et R) mainly by the Société Aéronautique Normande near Bernay (France) from 1958 to 1966.
she was use for family travels with five persons and equiped with radio, two fuel tanks and navigation lights.
Her qualities of plane "wood and fabric" induced some "altiports" to equipe her with skis for flights in moutains,
particularly over Apes mountains, where she still flies to day.
In Europe, some enthousiasts build their own D 140 "Mousquetaire" too.
