Coming in September from Pilot's GesmbH is FS Global 2005 for FS2002 and FS2004, including three DVD'swith over 12 GB of highly compressed scenery data. For more information, click on Read More.

This successor to 1998s FS Global will be delivered to preorder customers early September.

The 3 DVDs contain 12+ GB of highly compressed scenery data for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and 2004. It is the first scenery ever to use our "Double-render" method for flight simulator scenery.

Flight Simulator loads scenery as you approach it. It happens quite often, that mountains appear out of nowhere or massively change shape once you approach them or when they are loaded.

With "Double-render" scenery even at high distance the shape of the scenery is already correct. With "Double-render" scenery you actually have two sceneries running in one. For the distance a LOD5 low resolution with correct shape is drawn whereas in the vicinity a LOD9 (90m high resolution SRTM data) scenery shows incredible detail.
