FSQuality designer Christian Haiböck created this SAAB105 for the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. He spent uncounted hours, to render this aircraft as close as possible to the original. The original, to which Christian Haiböck has a very close relationship, as he is one of the mechanics at the Austrian Army, who are servicing this aircraft type. This means, that he really knows the SAAB 105, which he affectionate calls "his baby". And this is what you feel when looking at the aircraft and flying it in your Flight Simulator 2004.

Designed with Gmax (of course) the plane’s appearance proves the affection of its creator. Inside the cockpit the same thing. The custom made gauges are designed to meet the original ones (even the mirror is activated and shows the attitude of the plane). But most important for any aircraft add-on for the Flight Simulator is certainly, that the flight performance meets the performance of the original. Christian Haiböck knows his "baby" inside out, and he knows how the SAAB 105 behaves, so one may think, that this part was easy for him. Not at all. He had to satisfy the most critical beta testers one can imagine – his flying colleagues, the pilots of the Austrian Army, flying the SAAB. And his goal was, to get a "very well done – the model behaves as real as is gets" from these guys... Well, he made it.

It’s simply a delight to fly this Light Attack Aircraft and Jet Trainer in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and by doing you will certainly be fascinated by its flying characteristics which will let you understand, why the Austrian "Karo As" formation, as well as the Swedish "Team 60" are as successful as they are at different competitions and airshows.
