The Scotflight team is pleased to advise existing users of their scenery, with FS2004 installed, that in response to the release of the Microsoft FS2004 update, two small patches are now available for download. Patch 1 removes the MS default Forth Bridges and leaves the detailed versions originally included in Scotflight. Patch 2 addresses an autogen bleedthrough problem evident in the nearby Rosyth Dockyard area. If further conflicting issues emerge then we will be looking to address these as soon as possible.
The team are also pleased to advise that a new expanded version of Scotflight Scenery will be available, subject to final testing, within the next week. The major addition to the product is significant new scenery for the City of Edinburgh with highly detailed scenery for the City Centre based around the magnificent setting of Edinburgh Castle. Many well known landmarks close to the city centre are featured. Various sporting stadiums, modified Leith Dockland and even the Hillend Dry Ski Slope are also included and much more. This version will also add more new airfields and modifications of existing airfields, lighthouses, castles, oilrigs(inshore), other well known landmarks and will feature a working model of the 'Falkirk Wheel'.
A full specification for the content of the new package will be available at the time of release.
