RealAir Simulations Announces the Spitfire Mark XIV for FS2004

RealAir Simulations today announced the long-awaited release of their Spitfire Mark XIV for FS2004. Designed in Gmax and in development for nearly a year, the Spitfire features many new innovations never seen before in FS2004, including completely smooth gauges which are not solely reliant on graphics cards for performance. The Spitfire is built entirely around a 3D-only panel which is graphically more detailed and smoother running than most existing 2D panels. Among other new features, some never seen before in Flight Simulator, are stall buffeting, overstress effects, engine failure mode, vortex effects independent for each wing, and new innovations on RealAir's already established sophisticated flight modelling. In addition there is a special control panel enabling the user to pre-set many options before flying. Integrated into the package, which includes multiple variants on the Mark XIV Spitfire, is highly detailed scenery of an operational RAF air station set in 1944 with a full squadron of AI Spitfires.
