SCDS Announces KURS MP-70 VOR-DME system for upcoming Yak-40 v 1.5 upgrade

SCDS's upcoming Yakovlev-40 upgrade will have the KURS MP-70 system optional upgrade installed which was known as Yak-40 type-3 intended for international flights. The system was modelled the following way.  To read the full press release, click on Read More.

1. KURS MP Command Unit (ILS/VOR modes, power, control lamps etc)
2. NAV-1 Radio Control panel
3. NAV-2 Radio Control panel
4. DME-1 and DME-2 digital indicators with NM/KM switchable modes (replica of SD-75 installed in Yak-40 type-3). It has green-lighted digits when tuned on.
5. OBS-1 Selector panel
6. OBS-2 Selector panel

The upgrade to ver 1.5 is free for registered users of any earlier version of the SCDS Yak-40. Version 1.5 will have KURS MP-70 available as the subpanel which can be accessed using primary panels switchboard from 2D and VC cockpits. Physical 3D fully animated model of system will appear in VC also since Yak-40 ver 2.0 which is in development now and have all brand new visuals made in native 3D rendering software instead of gmax tool. Currently all animations of all knobs, buttons and switches can be seen in 2D subpanel.
