VFR (Visual Flight Rules) flying is the oldest from of aerial navigation. The pilot finds his or her way by following landmarks that can be seen from the air. To make a VFR flight you need to plan it first and work out the landmarks (or waypoints) that you will use to verify your position. Visual Flight Plans UK is a set of plans that cover ten interesting flights around the UK. Keep an eye out for castles, forests, historic landmarks and more. The first volume, available exclusively by download from Just Flight’s Download Shop, provides the user with comprehensive information about each flight. This includes VFR maps, photos of every waypoint that you are going to fly over, a flight plan sheet with headings, times and distances. There are also files to install in your flight simulator and follow the route using the GPS or display the VFR map on screen as you fly.
VFR Flight Plans UK (Vol. 1) is compatible with Flight Simulator 2004, Flight Simulator 2002 and X-Plane. Just Flight also recommends the use of a VFR scenery program to get the best from the software.
