2007 Great Aussie Air Rally Announced

Bluegrass Airlines announces the 6th annual Great Aussie Air Rally.

The G.A.A.R. 2007 begins on February 1st and consists of 17 flights.

Eligible aircraft must have been flying in the time period from 1-Jan 1930 until 31-Dec 1959.

We begin at YHID with 8 flights visiting all of the airports in the Torres Straits Islands, returning to Horn Island. The shortest runway is 1,722'.

From Horn Island we head across the Gulf of Carpentaria to YPGV Gove, and then drop in at 8 airports along the northern coast ending at Darwin.

Applications will be accepted through January 25th.
