I am pleased to announce the release of FlightGear v1.0. FlightGear is a free, open-source, flight simulator that runs on just about every major platform. The source code is licensed under the GPL.

Ready to run versions of FlightGear are available for Windows and MacOS. Packages for other platforms should be arriving in the upcoming days.
