Gregor Selcan, student of Faculty of Social Science (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia) and member of Virtual Flying Association of Slovenia, started with first international academical research of virtual flying communities "Social, economic and technological aspects of virtual flying communities".
The base goal of this study is in analysis of virtual flying community members from different sociological aspects and attributes: demographic, socializing (do members of virtual flying community make any freinds outside virtual space, do individuals meet any proffesionals connected with flying, how important is virtual flying for member of virtual flying community...), tehnical (which flight simulator is most popular, do members use internet to improve thier virtual experience,...), economic (how worth is member's equipment, are they going to invest more money to improve their virtual flying experience...) etc.
Conclusions and findings of research will be publicly represented and published in next months. Survey will be closed on March 10th, 2008.
