JetDirect Sells JetCorp to Flying Colours

Posted on
JetDirect Aviation this week sold the assets of maintenance provider JetCorp to Flying Colours of Peterborough, Ontario. Current president Bill McLendon remains on board as president of newly named JetCorp Technicial Services, located at Spirit of Saint Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Mo.
JetCorp, which was sold to JetDirect in June 2006, has been in business for more than 25 years and specializes in business jet heavy maintenance, inspections, structural repairs, components, avionics, engine line services and interior refurbs. The company recently earned a supplemental type certificate for conversion of Bombardier CRJs to executive configuration, which meshes with Flying Colours’s STCs for CRJ interiors and fuel systems.

“Our new association with Flying Colours is a great fit,” said McLendon. “The two companies’ capabilities and strengths complement each other extremely well, directly enhancing our ability to provide high quality, comprehensive service offerings to our customers.”
