I too, have the same problem as James has, I purchased my VPP controller a few years back, it has an orphan type serial bus connector (15 pin) and the new computers only has USB ports. Although I have looked extensively for an adapter to adapt it to USB, the most pin configuration adapter that is on the market is a 9 pin serial bus plug to USB. If I have to buy a new controller it surely WILL NOT be a CH product, as what they have if priced way too high in my opinion, Saitek has a 3 piece controller at a price that is cheaper in cost than just the yoke portion by CH products alone. I was well satisfied by the controller I have but when I went to their website to see if there was such an adapter to adapt this one to my computer, I was going to be charged 38 dollars for any info I received even if it meant that I was going to be told NO SUCH ITEM EXISTS. Not a very good customer relation/tech support dept. in my opinion
