With both the boxed and download versions of the Mosquito now available, Just Flight is very pleased to announce that a demo version is now available for those who'd like to try before they buy.
The demo aircraft is the BOAC unarmed high speed courier aircraft, which features in the Mosquito Special Ops - Upgrade Pack A. This variant was adapted to carry one passenger in an extremely compact compartment in the bomb bay on high-speed envoy missions. The BOAC markings were an attempt at trying to convey to the enemy that the aircraft was unarmed, although the Mosquito's enviable high speed performance was a very handy defence!
You can download the demo here (51Mb).
Mosquito is as a great-value package in boxed and download versions. The package includes four aircraft spanning three classic Mosquito variants - the B. Mk IV, the FB. Mk VI and the frightening FB Mk XVIII Tsetse with its underslung flak gun. In addition, owners of Mosquito will be able to expand it further with two keenly priced upgrade packs, available exclusively from the Just Flight web site. Costing just £4.99 each, the upgrades will add a total of eight additional aircraft types in sixteen liveries to the Mosquito hangar.
Built from wood and powered by two Rolls-Royce Merlins, the Mosquito was a formidable aircraft with the speed of a fighter, the manoeuvrability of a racer and the payload of a bomber. Now flight simulation enthusiasts can experience the same blistering performance in this brilliant package for Flight Simulator X or 2004.
