In between my work as a developer for MAAM-Sim I have been working on a pet project of my own too. It concerns the F-86 Sabre. Been working on it off and on for about two years with help of a couple of my FS developer friends.We have finally arrived at a 'Gold' model and I have just put a web site aka PR, dedicated to our freeware Sabre Project, on line. We have called our small development team 'SECTIONF8' and this F-86E and F type Sabre is the first product of what we hope to be an ongoing project to produce just about every type and derivative that has ever been developed from the F-86, including the F-86D Sabre Dog and sea going FJ-2,3 and 4 Fury.
This initial branch of our F-86 Sabre tree is ment to be for FS2004 only. A native FSX version will be in the works eventually too.
Interested people can download the Flight Manual and view the reference doc, as well as view a truckload of screenies.
I hope to upload our pet F-86 Sabre puppy, Cadillac of the Skies, to the FlightSim.Com library sometime during the next week.
