NMG Trading Releases Southern Africa Navigation Beacons 2009

Posted on Sun, 13 Sep 2009 06:46:25 GMT
This package will update the Navigation Database for Southern Africa within Microsoft Flight Simulator with the latest Navigation Aids currently available. This package will update the navigation beacons for TEN countries in Southern Africa! (Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe) The new navigation beacons will be fully usable through the build in Flight Planner and GPS of Microsoft Flight Simulator. No more flying Flight Simulator based on old out-dated navigation data!

To say that this package will revolutionize the use of Microsoft Flight Simulator in Southern Africa will be an understatement! This package will equip your Microsoft Flight Simulator with the latest navigation beacons available to real world pilots right now. Using Microsoft Flight Simulator as a true IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) tool is now a reality!

Even better is that we will keep the package updated by releasing updates every third month. This means that the navigation beacons in your copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator will never be older than three months! As new navigation beacons are added and/or old ones removed, so will the navigation beacons in Microsoft Flight Simulator keep up with the real world changes!

A free update for the previous Southern Africa Navigation Beacons 2008 package is available through our Web site under the PATCHES section. This patch will update both the CD and the DOWNLOAD version of the Southern Africa Navigation Beacons 2008 package to the 2009 version.

This package was made possible with the kind co-operation Aviation Direct CC. The information in this package is based on the Frequency Guide published by Aviation Direct. We urge you to obtain a copy of this guide to help you navigate Southern Africa!
