VRInsight HAT-Track announced

Posted on Sun, 13 Sep 2009 10:22:46 GMT
The HAT-Track of VR Insight offers dynamic head tracking to control your POV in flight simulation that completely immerses you in the experience. Simply look around naturally and the HAT-Track system intuitively adjusts your view accordingly. It's like you are sitting in the Captain's seat!

The HAT-Track system offers full 6 degree of freedom (6DOF) support which means you can move around in full 3D and have it accurately translated into movement within the simulator. X,Y,Z plus yaw, pitch and roll are all precisely tracked.

The software amplifies and adjusts your movements so that you never have to actually take your eyes off the monitor. Small movements allow you to pan all around inside the sim and the sensitivity is fully adjustable to your preference. A few minutes of getting used to it will result in a lifetime of enjoyment as your simulation becomes more immersive and realistic!

It is completely integrated with FS2004 and FSX through the included "HAT-Track" add-on software. Requires just one USB connection and is extremely efficient with low CPU utilization. The receiver clips on easily and comfortably to any headset that you currently have. The unit itself clips on to any monitor. You can even use your large LCD, PDP, projection TV as a monitor!

As a bonus, the HAT-Track software even includes some voice control features that allow you to issue many flight sim key commands by just saying simple, natural phrases!
