Sandspit X Airport scenery released by Captain Keith

Posted on
This is one of the most popular and yet often forgotten airports in North America. From the very detailed and unique terminal building to animated "birds in flight" and Orca whales "splashing about" just off the coastline, we have done our best to capture the area's overall peaceful and serene feel.

Sandspit Airport in the Queen Charlotte Island chain of British Columbia is also one of the most popular stopover airfields in the area. Many pilots choose Sandspit as a refueling stop while making a long trip from the mainland U.S. to Alaska. In this release we have included not only Sandspit Airport but also Masset Municipal, which lies about 50 miles to the north.

So, whether you are just stopping in for fuel and a cup of coffee, or you are planning to do some sightseeing in the area, Sandspit will not disappoint you. Birds in Flight and animated marine life will only add to the overall experience, so we invite you to take a look at what has affectionately become know as "The Sandspit Project" today!
