Oregon is located in the northwest United States and is a land of great natural beauty. Western Oregon consists of the beautiful Pacific Ocean coastline with rugged beaches and evergreen forests. The Willamette Valley, in northwestern Oregon, is home to most of the state's population, including the three large cities of Portland, Eugene, and Salem, the state capital. Central Oregon is home to the rugged Cascade Mountains and forms the dividing line between the wet west side of the state and the dry east side. Eastern Oregon consists of beautiful high desert areas. Many great airports and beautiful scenery await you anywhere you fly in Oregon!
