Unity Security Force Celebrate Seven Year Anniversary

Posted on Sat, 14 Nov 2009 05:28:33 GMT
USECJust over seven years ago, the military realism flight simulation group Unity Security Force was founded by a handful of members. Populated predominantly by current and former members of real world militaries around the globe, USEC drew on the diverse background of its members to carve a unique place in the virtual aviation community.

The current Chief of Staff, General Dean Hall, attributes his success as an Officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force to his service at USEC, as well as his entry into the Computer Games industry as a Producer. "When I applied for the job, I provided a link to the USEC site. The studio was so impressed, they signed me up as an Associate Producer" commented Hall recently. "I think people underestimate the impact, socializing, and skills that are gained from participation in the Virtual Aviation community" said Hall.

How is USEC going to spend its birthday? "We've never done much for our birthdays" commented Hall, "we just stick to what we do best, being a team, and doing things better each day."
