Vatsim EDDFExperience Frankfurt's real traffic -- for six hours!  Saturday, 16th of May, 2009 from 1600z until 2200z.  Each year 53.5 million passengers are carried at Frankfurt's airport, and 2.1 million tons of freight are dealt with.

To be able to cope with that number of passengers and freight each day 1,391 flight operations are necessary -- an average of 55.5 departures and arrivals per hour, up to 80 in peak times.

During Frankfurt RealOps 2009 you can witness real air traffic as it is presently handled at Frankfurt. During our six hours event you can choose out of more than 400 flights. Each hour there will be 67 take-offs and landings.

If "normal" flight simulation is not enough for your and if you furthermore like to use real flight plans and real employed aircraft, you're absolutely right here. Are you ready for the challenge to operate flights in a small-time-slot from or to one of the busiest airports in the world?

Franfurt's ATC-Team is awaiting you with more than 20 controllers. More than half of them meets in our virtual ACC near Hanau, especially for the purpose of this event.
