Announcing Hitler's Stealth Fighter (Horten Ho 229) by PRE-Flight RC Simulator. The Horten Ho 229 was the favorite of Hitler's Luftwaffe chief, Hermann Goering, calling it the only aircraft to come close to his "1000,1000,1000" requirements - meaning an aircraft that could carry 1000kg of bombs a distance of 1000km at a speed of 1000 km/hr.Although the Horten was never completed, it was so advanced for its time that a reconstruction of it was recently done. Apart from its super-efficient flying-wing configuration, ejection seat, and braking parachute, the Horten was to feature a composite skin which was impregnated with charcoal - the first radar-absorbent "stealth" design in history.
The plane that "might have changed the war" is presented by PRE-Flight as a super scale model with highly detailed weapons and moveable controls. An unusual sister model (included) is a variant with stealthy transparent skin which makes internal details (like landing gear and cannons) visible.
