FranceVFR Release Clermont Ferrand Scenery

Posted on Mon, 08 Mar 2010 14:47:48 GMT
Clermond Ferrand sceneryFranceVFR, a well know flight simulator developer focusing on scenery add-ons covering France has just released their Clermont Ferrand Scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and 2004.  The scenery add-on covers 32 square kilometers with the main focus on the airport of Clermont Ferrand.

With the release of Clermont Ferrand Airport Scenery France VFR completes its collection of regional airports by editing the 6th pane of airport scenery for FS2004 and FSX.

The scenery conceptualizes the Airport of Clermont Ferrand using photoreal high definition textures of the ground adding as well night textures for the entire zone covered. The scenery spreads over 35 km2 and adds to the airport an extended photorealistic area including specific autogen as well as semi photoreal tarmacs and taxiway (new!).

The scenery is optimized in order to obtain the best possible frame rate and quality/performance. You can use it as a stand-alone product or in addition to the Auvergne scenery (VFRPack, release later this year) without any modification. Due to its particular concept, the scenery is entirely compatible with any mesh of your choice.
