Aircraft "Instructions" Painted on Kulula Airlines

Posted on Mon, 22 Mar 2010 07:00:00 GMT
Kulula AirlinesI know this isn't current news, but when I came across this little gem I had to take a closer look. It would seem that Kulula Airlines has decided to paint one of it's aircraft with... well, instructions.

The plane points out the various parts of the airplane from engine location to lavatory location in an effort to "educate" air travelers. I really do hope the majority of passengers are already familiar with the location and identity of the engines, but I am not going to mock anyone who doesn't. At least not to their face.

I think it is a fabulous idea and something different to look at next time you are sitting at your gate waiting to board. I will happily board any aircraft painted in this manner; unless I happen to see the Captain and Flight Crew taking notes while doing their pre-flight check.
