Just Flight Battle of Britain: 70th Anniversary for FSX

Posted on

Battle of Britain spitfireBattle of Britain: 70th Anniversary is Microsoft Flight Simulator X compatible. It is available in DVD-ROM media format and was designed by Just Flight. This simulator add-on was created in recognition and celebration of the Battle of Britain’s 70th Anniversary. This pack includes three planes that were central in the battle, the Hurricane, Spitfire and Me 109.

This add-on includes a tremendous amount of detail. The gorgeous looking cockpits, model options, accurate flight dynamics, great engine sounds and long list of liveries are just few of the Battle of Britain features that stand out. It is the ideal add-on for the commemoration of this famous battle.

Other notable features include a 3D Virtual Cockpit that is interactive, canopy jettison feature, a pilot figure that is animated, authentic liveries, detailed engines that are visible, realistic sounds, animations, flight models with high fidelity, manuals, start engine effects, gun side effects and visuals.

The virtual cockpit is pretty outstanding. Every lever, knob and switch works. It is shadow textured in some spots and built to closely resemble a real cockpit in every detail. The exterior of the planes (Hurricane, Spitfire and Me 109) are also built to the each of their specifications so that their shapes and profiles are accurate and realistic. The exterior models are bump and specular mapped.

Individuals who are personally invested in the Battle of Britain or who simply enjoy commemorative simulator-adds will find that this is one of the better ones on the market. The details, accuracy and huge selection of features make it an excellent choice. Individuals that purchase this add-on will have their choice of several types and models of planes. This gives buyers a bigger bank for their buck and the ability to test out different types of planes, perhaps one or two that a person hadn’t before.

Commemorative add-ons, at least quality ones tend to be good buys because they are often times packed with extras.
