The airport has a long history, dating back to 1942 when the city of Austin TX bought land to develop it into Bergstrom Air Force Base. Bergstrom AFB started its conversion into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in 1991.

Today, Austin-Bergstrom airport has 24 terminals and 1 gate for regional or small airline jets like the 737 and 717. The airport also has a major FBO for general aviation near the C-17 parking.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport add-on features:

  • 24 terminals
  • A cargo area
  • Fixed aprons
  • Drop-off terminal
  • Enormous FBO area for general aviation

The scenery add-on offers a lot of detail and an accurate representation of the airport in real life.

In addition to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Hawkeye Sim has released several other products in the recent past, namely Fallon City Scenery, Somali Pirate & Anti Pirate Scenery and Friday Harbor Pack.
