France VFR has released its first new generation VFR photo real scenery for FSX that covers the Haute Normandie French region.

France VFR used 3D automation technology that makes it possible to show many buildings and trees in fine details, in addition to 3D objects and VFR landmarks. This scenery add-on replicates the Haute Normandie French region with high-resolution texture (1m/pixel) and very high-resolution terrain mesh (4.75 true meters). VFR pilots can now fly over a full immersive landscape with FSX, and see all the fine details they normally see from the cockpit.

The 3D Automation technology is capable of displaying 5 to 8 times more objects than other existing VFR scenery for FSX. This allows for an amazing realistic rendering and frame rate. The visibility distance has been increased to match the real life, without losing the frame rate.

France VFR has plans to set up a dedicated website with information about all the different parts of the creation and placement process of the 3D Automation technology.
