All the features which users are familiar with from iPhone are available in this iPad version. However, for all these features, there is a little something extra in the iPad version. These additions make RemoteFlight MAP HD a pleasure to use.
This new iPad version offers better and more aircraft icons and more map options. It also includes wind and vertical speed indicator. Aircraft and map movements are now animated in a smooth and sleek manner, and this is a feature which most users enjoy on a photo aerial map. It is now possible to display Flight plans from FSX or FS9 on the map, providing information on each waypoint distance and direction as you fly.
RemoteFlight offers a total of six products. The three most popular are as follows:
RemoteFlight AUTOPILOT. This is a Bendix-King style autopilot panel, ideal for general aviation. Although it does not have auto throttle, it offers more options for better realism. It features an HDG selector which enables a pilot to control all movements from this application.
RemoteFlight MAP. This is an essential item and companion for long haul flights. It is also an important tool for pilots who like to explore the world. This zoom-able vector map moves with the aircraft and all the vital flight variables are displayed on toggle side-panel. There are different types of maps, units of measurement and aircraft icons for pilots to choose from.
RemoteFlight HSI. This is crucial radio navigation instrument with all features a user can imagine. It is fully dual, VOR / LOC / GS / ADF / DME enabled, inspired by military HSI, but customized in RemoteFlight style. It is very easy to use.
All applications are compatible with FSX and FS2004 via FSUIPC.
RemoteFlight MAP HD allows the pilot to sit back and relax while still aware of the situation in cockpit. RemoteFlight MAP HD works with all aircrafts, gliders, helicopters and anything that moves. For more information, visit: https://www.remoteflight.net/
