The scenery add-on offers an accurate representation of the airport and an atmosphere which is true to Dublin Airport. While being realistic, the scenery add-on also has a foresight into the future of the airport.

Dublin Airport scenery add-on uses 3D files for existing structures, including the newest buildings, as well as structures that are currently under construction. FWI offers a free update for the final airport, with all the construction completed.

This product is a very comprehensive and accurate airport scenery add-on, with brilliant frames. The technical details included in the product, and the fact that the scenery add-on seem to ‘come to life’ in a user’s favorite simulator makes Dublin Airport scenery add-on a great product. If you like those kinds of airports, you will like having the Dublin Airport scenery add-on in your collection.

Features:

  • New T2 buildings with jetways
  • All details for taxiways and runways
  • Includes full four seasons and rigid winter textures
  • Fully 3D taxiways lighting and signs
  • It is compatible with AI traffic. AFX file contains all gates, and gates are assigned to specific airlines.
  • Animated jetways
  • Ground terrain which is seamlessly integrated with Flight Simulator
  • High resolution ground, object and building textures

Dublin airport, whose full Irish name is Aerfort Bhaile Átha Cliath, is located in Collinstown, in the county of Fingal, Ireland. The airport is the busiest of the state's airports – 18.8 million passengers passed through the airport in 2011. In recent years, there has been significant growth at Dublin Airport and the facility has become congested. In order to accommodate this growth, several building works and new extensions are underway.

In the Dublin Airport scenery add-on, FWI did a great job of recreating a vibrant and thriving airport. The add-on is considered to be a big step away from the identikit airports which players are used to in FSX.

Other products released by FWI in recent times include Canary Islands X and Lanzarote V2 for FSX.
