Alaskan Airways is inviting pilots to join the virtual airline.

Alaskan Airways flies its aircraft in one of the most beautiful places to fly in, Alaska. Sudden and drastic weather changes are common in Alaska – the weather can quickly change from clear blue skies to zero visibility, all of which add to the fun and excitement of flying in Alaska.

In a press release, Mike Schmitt, president and CEO of Alaskan Airways, stated that the airline is inviting pilots of all levels of flight experience to join their team. The virtual airline began operations in July 2010, and endeavours to emulate the operations of its real world counterpart, Alaska Airlines.

The virtual airline has a lot to offer, namely realistic operations involving ACARS integration, pilot certifications and manual reporting. The airline has a vibrant and friendly online community. It offers many great flights, with high levels of realism. Alaskan Airlines has flights to more than 115 destinations. It provides support for X-Plane 9 pilots.

I want to weigh in on this topic because it not accurate. I am the CEO and President of the newly formed Alaskan Airways. The advertisement you have placed here is for Virtual Alaska Airlines not for our organization, Alaskan Airways. We would ask that you please change the title to reflect the correct airline.

Anyone looking for our new airline ALASKAN AIRWAYS please look for us at http://alaskanairways.weebly.com/index.html

Thank you Mike Schmitt Alaskan Airways CEO and President schmitt012003@yahoo.com
