The McDonnell Douglas DC-10 is a jet airliner with range for medium- to long-range flights. The aircraft’s unique feature is its two-turbofan engines on underwing pylons and a third engine at the base of the vertical stabilizer.

FedEx Express is the largest operator of the DC-10 in the US. Production of this aircraft ended in 1989, and the aircraft was succeeded by McDonnell Douglas MD-11.

Turbine Sound Studios (TSS) has released a DC-10 Sound Pack for FSX and FS2004. This sound pack is an accurate representation of the DC-10. This sound pack captures all the sounds of the roaring DC-10; enabling you to enjoy the powerful GE CF6-50 engines. The sounds were recorded from the engines of FedEx and Biman DC-10's.

Although developed for the CLS DC-10, you can use this sound pack with a wide range of other add-ons.

This sound pack features custom gear, flaps, wind, autopilot, stall and wheel rumble. The sound pack also features realistic cockpit sound that will make you feel like you are in the real DC-10.

TSS is renowned for producing high quality sound packs. Other products released by TSS in the recent past include E-190 CF34 HD Sound Pack, Dash 8 HD Sound Pack, Boeing 707 PW JT3D Sound Pack and 737 CFM56-7b HD.
